It’s a given that the best thing about long-
distance relationships is the times when
you see one another, be it for the weekend
or a little longer. Making visiting plans
well in advance will drive enthusiasm and
anticipation, while setting milestones, such
as looking for apartments for the future or
a vacation will help navigate the timeline of
your relationship and reaffirm that it’s going
in the right direction. Make the most of
this time by making it special and creating
memories. You can take turns visiting each
other’s cities, but a better idea can be to
meet somewhere you have never been
before, especially if it’s a romantic setting.
But don’t be too upset if a visit is cancelled
or rearranged; you both have your own lives
and this can’t always be helped.
